The owners are lifelong residents of Ohio, more specifically long term local residents of the Canal Winchester, Columbus, Groveport, and Pickerington areas. They come from a family background of many influential Educators that serve throughout the state with a commitment to excellence in multiple beneficial child endeavors.
Ms. Leisa, EMCCS Owner and Administrator, has over 20 years of Childcare experience in various related positions. Ms. Leisa’s passion for children has led her to travel the country serving in various roles and capacities including: State Licensing Specialist with the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services, a Professional Development Coordinator & Child Care Coach with Ohio Child Care Resource and Referral Agency (OCCRRA), a Federal Reviewer for Head Start Programs (e.g., Danya International), and a Lead Teacher/Teacher in various toddler classrooms. Presently she remains a well sought out Child Care Consultant and Child Care Trainer to several business the daycare community. Ms. Leisa has earned Masters Certificate in Leadership from Central Michigan University and a Bachelors Degree in Family Science and Human Development from The Ohio State University.
Mr. Eric, EMCCS Owner and Operations Director, has over 5 years of Childcare experience including service as an Early Education Literacy Tutor with AmeriCorps for two years, as well as a Reading & Math Volunteer for several years at Broad Leigh Elementary. He worked in the private sector for several years and over a decade at the Defense Logistics Agency’s Military Depot in Whitehall, OH. Mr. Eric earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and holds a Bachelors in Psychology from The Ohio State University.
